When it comes to Dungeons and Dragons my favorite animal is the boar. Now a lot of people look at the boar and say, "It's just a big pig," and that's when you know that they grew up in the city. The boar is a vicious brute that is destructive to crops and will kill a man. But that's real life you say.

Fine.
In the game the boar is a low level creature that can dish out a high amount of punishment per round without breaking a sweat. On three occasions I have kill high level characters (14, 12, and 16 levels respectively) with a base boar.
As a Druid, Thief 1 took out seven demons of a Challenge Rating 8 by himself.
